Foundation Options

Mesocore homes can be built on two types of foundations:

• Concrete Slab: The most common option. It is designed to increase structural strength once complete and provides a solid base.
• Concrete Pier: An alternative that allows for elevation in flood-prone areas and provides ventilation underneath.

Site Preparation Requirements

Before Module Arrives:

• Foundation must be poured, cured, and level.
• Access path for delivery truck must be clear of overhead obstacles (power lines, trees).
• Utility connection points must be identified and trenching completed.

Delivery & Crane

Container Specs: The home arrives as a 20' HC ISO-certified container via truck, rail, or ocean cargo.

Crane: A crane may be required to place the core on the foundation depending on site accessibility. This is an additional cost determined by your contractor.
