Timeline & Installation Process

From Consultation to Move-In

On-Site Installation: 10 Days

Once the Mesocore core module arrives at your site, the home can be assembled and ready for occupancy in 10 days. This rapid timeline is possible because the module arrives pre-wired, pre-plumbed, and pre-tested from the factory.

The Complete Process

  1. Prepare Land: Site preparation and foundation planning must be completed before delivery (access confirmation, utility planning).
  2. Pour Slab: Concrete foundation installation (slab or pier) is completed.
  3. Deliver Core: The factory-built module arrives on-site via truck, rail, or ocean cargo as a 20' HC ISO-certified container.
  4. Site Work: Crane placement (if required), assembly of modular components, and utility connections.
  5. Move In: Home is ready for occupancy 10 days after core arrival.

What Affects Your Timeline?

  • Permitting: Varies significantly by location. Your general contractor handles this, and it can take weeks to months.
  • Site Conditions: Access for trucks, utility proximity, and clearing requirements can impact schedule.
  • Weather: Factory construction prevents weather delays during the build, but severe weather can still delay on-site installation.
