Solar Systems Included

Model E ADU: Includes a 6kW solar system with 14 PV panels, lithium-ion battery storage, inverter, and all necessary racking/wiring.

Model A House: Includes a 2kW solar system (six 300-watt panels), solar back-up battery storage, and a solar pre-heat hot water system.

Battery Backup Systems

Both models include lithium-ion battery backup systems providing:

  • Power storage for grid outages
  • Storm resilience
  • Reduced utility dependency

Water Independence

  • Rainwater Collection: 1,700 gallon cistern included with both models.
  • Water Treatment: Integrated UV purification system with pressure pumps and filters (located in the mechanical room).

Off-Grid Capability

When outfitted with maximum solar and battery capacity, Mesocore homes can function as fully sustainable off-grid dwellings. Note: Verify with your local building department, as some jurisdictions require grid connection regardless of capability.
